同位异像防伪技术是绕图像X轴或Y轴翻转观察时可看到同一位置上显示两幅不同的图像，这种可在同一位置上记录有两幅不同图像信息的全息术，是印刷技术无法实现的，也无法通过扫描仪获得图像。高分辨率光刻系统可实现分离清晰的三通道（同位三像）。
